CM Punk and Paul Heyman returned on tonight’s WWE SmackDown as part of a big Bloodline revelation for WWE Survivor Series ‘WarGames’.
Earlier in the show, Roman Reigns, The Usos and Sami Zayn were deliberating about potential fifth men for their team after being rejected by everyone they’ve approached so far.
Ultimately, they decided they didn’t need a fifth man and were happy to go into WarGames at a four-on-five disadvantage against the new Bloodline team of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Bronson Reed.
The main event segment of the show was billed as Solo Sikoa attempting to get Roman Reigns to agree to his “terms of surrender”.
As the two teams stood face-to-face in the ring, a voice boomed throughout the arena, and that voice belonged to Paul Heyman.
Heyman was last seen months ago being attacked by Sikoa’s new Bloodline after he refused to acknowledge Sikoa as his tribal chief, staying loyal to Reigns.
Heyman came onto the stage and said four-on-five doesn’t make sense for WarGames, and that won’t be the case after all.
He pointed to the entrance-way and out came CM Punk, who powerfully strode to the ring and went head-on with the new Bloodline alongside Reigns and co.
After the scuffle calmed down, there was some clear tension between Reigns and Punk as the show went off the air, but Punk is indeed on the team for WarGames.
