Two months after dropping his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), Eminem returned with more new music. The rapper re-released the set with several new tunes, renaming it the Expanded Mourner’s Edition. Those additions help the project climb on charts everywhere, as the hip-hop titan’s fan base wasclearly intrigued by the four new songs that were recently shared.
The Death of Slim Shady is on the rise all around the planet, but the title is performing especially well in the U.K. Eminem’s twelfth full-length shoots up four rankings in that country at the same time, while also returning to several others.
Eminem makes his way back to No. 1 on one tally this frame with The Death of Slim Shady. The bestseller surges from No. 19 to No. 1 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums list, which details the bestselling titles in those genres in the U.K.
The Death of Slim Shady is not new to the throne on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums ranking. It debuted in that position, and then found its way to a second frame in charge just two weeks later.
As it lifts to No. 1 once again on that tally, The Death of Slim Shady is bigger than ever on another chart. Eminem’s most recent project breaks back onto the Official Physical Albums list at No. 3 this frame. That’s a new peak for the set, which it reaches in its third stay somewhere on the roster.
The Death of Slim Shady debuted at No. 26 on the U.K.’s list of the bestselling albums on any physical format (CD, vinyl, or even cassette). The next week, it rose three rungs to reach a new high point. Then, it vanished. Now, it’s a top 10 smash success.
Eminem’s new full-length also manages to return to its peak on another ranking during this busy week. The Death of Slim Shady is back at No. 3 on the Official Albums Sales chart, which is different from the Official Physical Albums tally.
