ForbesToday’s NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Friday, November 22nd

Wondering what critter would be in a farm that’s kept on a shelf? Not sure what kind of shop sells crystals and incense? Don’t worry, because I’m here to help you with the answers for today’s NYT Mini crossword.

The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper’s larger and long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT Mini crossword is free to play on the New York Times website or NYT Games app. However, you’ll need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.

To help you avoid getting stuck and having to reveal missing letters, here are the NYT Mini Crossword answers for Saturday, November 23 (spoilers lie ahead, of course):

It took me 2:36 to complete today’s NYT Mini.

I made lots of errors that tripped me up here, such as initially thinking that the journalist was someone (I imagine you can guess) other than ARI and that the shape of the puzzle was an EYEBALL. BEJEWEL was on the tip of my tongue — or fingers — but it took a while to get it. I didn’t get NEW AGEY or DECOY either, and had to cycle around the grid a couple of times before I filled in all the letters.

Not exactly my fastest Saturday solve, but tomorrow’s another day.
