Madden has a dual role in Killer Heat as twin brothers Leo and Elias Vardakis as they are drawn into a fatal love triangle.

When one of the brothers turns up dead, his sister-in-law Penelope (Shailene Woodley) hires out-of-town detective Nick Bali (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) to investigate.

Nick is quickly thrown into a cat-and-mouse game of power and deception while trying to determine who in the Vardakis family is telling the truth.

“Everybody’s jealous of somebody,” Nick points out at one point in the trailer.
