Weather delay called after lightning, game to get late start

Bad weather continues to impact conditions in Florida despite Hurricane Helene passing through the area earlier in the week.

Saturday’s Big 12 matchup between Deion Sanders’ Colorado and UCF has entered into a weather delay just before the 3:30 p.m. kickoff at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando. The Knights (3-0, 1-0 Big 12) are coming off a road conference 35-34 victory over TCU after trailing by three touchdowns. Colorado (3-1, 1-0) is coming off a victory last week over Baylor. The Buffalo’s lone loss was a 28-10 loss to Nebraska in Week 2.
